BCN Open Day for World Science Festival

Saturday 27th March, 2021.
9.30am-4pm.

At B4C Sustainability Centre, 21 Wright St, Carindale.

Brisbane Catchments Network (BCN) is celebrating the World Science Festival with an open day which it looks forward to welcoming Brisbanites to!

Come and see a waterwise Sustainable Garden (sponsored by Urban Utilities). It’s a great place to ask your plant and soil questions with B4C nursery volunteers around.

Also find out ways to get involved with catchment care, bushcare and citizen science in your area.

Featuring:

  • Local catchment groups from around Brisbane
  • PollinatorLink
  • Brisbane’s Big Butterfly Count
  • Birds Queensland
  • Bat Conservation & Rescue QLD
  • Urban Utilities
  • Australian Citizen Science Association
  • Boomerang Bags
  • BBQ thanks to Carindale Rotary (don’t forget to bring your change!)

Workshops on the day are booking fast!

The event is largely outdoors, so don’t forget to wear sun protection and bring your reusable water bottle.
