Butterfly Survey at Moggill Conservation Park
Thursday, October 5 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Description:
Brisbane’s Big Butterfly Count will be surveying Moggill Conservation Park. While the survey is a public one, the terrain is challenging and requires a substantial amount of fitness. It is not for the faint-hearted and needs substantial stamina. Please keep that in mind if you consider participating.
Observations alone have already resulted in some magnificient records, and we hope to find a lot more butterflies in this conservation park which is immensely rich in native flora and fauna.
Cliff Meyer will guide the survey, bring his immense knowledge and enthusiasm to the survey, and report (as ESQ member) to the Entomological Society of Queensland as we are conducting the survey under their permit.
Kindly let us know beforehand if you wish to participate.
